Kids Martial Arts

Overview

Spero’s Martial Arts Academy’s Kids Martial Arts classes (also known as Pup’s classes) are broken down into two age groups(Ages 4-7 and 8-12).

The younger class focuses on basic striking and defense fundamentals as well as basic grappling, and physical fitness. The senior class studies more advanced curriculum and prepares students for the Mixed Martial Arts class at the age of 13. Both classes instill discipline, respect, and self confidence within the student.

These classes will improve your child’s life in so many areas. The concentration and focus that martial arts teaches translates to better grades in school and a head-start on a successful life!

Fitness

 

This class is a total body workout because it involves a lot of explosive throws, speed, agility, and ground grappling. At Spero’s Martial Arts Academy, we know the importance of a healthy mind and body. In martial arts, you’ll burn hundreds of calories in each class, develop lean muscles, and boost stamina and endurance. Our Kids martial arts training class is fun and engaging for any student.

Weight Loss

Obesity is a serious problem in the United States, so a brand new workout to your routine will greatly help. At Spero’s Martial Arts Academy, we know the importance of a healthy mind and body, so introducing yourself to martial arts is a great way to combat obesity and promote weight loss. In BJJ, you’ll burn hundreds of calories in each class, develop lean muscles, and boost flexibility. Our Kids martial arts class is a high-energy training class that is great for overall health and/or weight loss.

 

Community

In martial arts training you need to spend a lot of time with the other students in your class. By creating a bond of trust and reciprocation, you and your classmates can then practice various techniques on each other and see what works or doesn’t work. Members at Spero’s martial arts have become close friends and help each other refine their skills and reach their goals.
